Food Comes First

Food Comes First was created in 2017 After a varied career in hospitality and the arts; I trained in a French restaurant and later at Westminster College. After working in management in hotels, visitor attractions and restaurants l went back to concentrating on producing the food l love. As well as operating Food Comes First we have a cafe called The Bathing Hut Cafe on the beach in St Leonard’s.

Food Comes First’s goal is to provide its clients with their perfect event. We offer a flexible yet professional service and will carefully discuss all details of your event to arrive at an understanding of your vision.

We cater for weddings, parties, wakes, corporate events, dinners, sporting events and also offer location services.
From BBQs, paellas, fine dining , fusion foods and canapés and buffets we are happy to discuss any style of catering.
The company is based next to Hastings' lovely Alexandra Park, (St Helen's Road, Hastings TN34), and covers East and West Sussex and Kent.
